James 5:7-20 – Patience While Waiting

James begins this letter addressing the scattered saints concerning patience in suffering. Now, here at the end of the letter, he again speaks of patience and endurance in suffering. James encourages us to be patient while waiting for the return of the Lord, who will right every wrong. And to endure our hardships while we wait. There is suffering before we receive the blessed hope. James gives 3 examples of patient endurance: The Farmer, The Old Testament Prophets, and Job.
