Matthew Chapter 2 – God Protecting His Son

The Sunday before Christmas, we find ourselves studying the watch care of The Father for His Son. So many evidences in Matthew Chapter 2 regarding the perfect all knowing discernment of The Father in preventing His only begotten Son from being killed. The enemy cannot take Christ’s life, only Christ has the power to lay down His life and take it up again. The evil plan of Satan was to take Christ’s life before He could save His people from their sin. We see the miraculous plan and perfection of God the Father watching out for His Son as a baby. How we can be assured in the midst of so much crisis today that God is also watching out for each of us.
