Ministry Relationship’s - 2 Corinthians 2

In the midst of the Apostles lives there was always the need to instruct, correct, exhort, comfort and encourage the churches. In this church in Corinth there was an issue of immorality occurring which wasn’t dealt with. Paul in 1st Corinthians dealt strongly with this calling out the leaders for their unfaithfulness to the one who sinned and to the church as a whole. In 2Cor chapter 2 we see the fallen Christian has repented and is now desiring to return to the church he was disciplined by. This lesson shows God’s grace and mercy when we repent. As God forgives we also must forgive. Paul also discusses the opportunities he has to travel to other cities to preach the Gospel. And how our very lives are a testament to salvation from sin or a testament to being lost for eternity for those who reject Christ.
