1 Corinthians 13 – God’s Love Sets Us Free

Today’s message will complete our study on The Love, Chapter 1 Corinthians 13. This chapter is the foundation of living, as it teaches us God’s attributes shown to us in how Jesus lived and loved us while we were yet sinners and still are. Every hang-up or negative kinds of emotions come from not receiving and experiencing the Agape love of God in our daily lives. Every positive relationship with everyone we encounter is based on whether we are walking in love empowered by the Holy Spirit, or if we are living with attitudes that are opposite of what 1 Corinthians 13 teaches us. God’s love sets us free from the bondage of sin and death; from fear, guilt, and shame, and empowers us to live transformed lives of love and service to others. This freedom comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who through His death and resurrection, gives us a new life empowered by God through the Holy Spirit.
