On Paul’s second missionary journey he traveled to Thessalonica and founded the Thessalonian Church. Paul preached the gospel and they believed under great persecution. However, despite the pressure, this young Church remained steadfast in faith and was an example to other churches. They demonstrated a work of faith, a labor of love and patience of hope for the return of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
