2 Timothy 1:13 – 2:13 – “Last Words” – Part 2

With his departure from this world, Paul realizes that he will pass the mantle to Timothy, his son in the faith. Timothy has shown signs of timidity, so Paul urges him to keep the gospel that was committed to him by the power of the Holy Spirit and endure suffering. For example, Paul compares being a Pastor, or a servant of Jesus Christ, to 3 types; 1) A good Soldier, 2) An Athlete, and 3) A hardworking Farmer.
