When we read the Book of The Acts, we see the obvious work and empowerment of The Holy Spirit through the lives of believers. Gifts such as the Word of Wisdom, Knowledge, and Discernment exist. The Lord always has control and knows how He wants to work in the lives of those who desire to follow Him. We see both Peter and Cornelius hearing from the Spirit of God and how the Lord uses these different gifts to bring people together in communion. Acts of The Holy Spirit teach us the need to be led and directed by the Holy Spirit. It’s exciting to know we are learning to depend and wait upon the Spirit that we might accomplish the will of the Father.
