With all the false teachings and misunderstanding since the days the New Testament was first written, there has been confusion regarding the Deity of Christ. The enemy has always attacked the Truth: that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. If the lie can hide the Truth, then the human race has no path to salvation for the penalty of sin. The Apostle Paul clearly teaches in Colossians, today that Jesus Christ is Preeminent, nobody is above His Exalted His Throne and Dominion. He is the image of the invisible God.
Aren’t you glad Jesus is who He said he is? You know the Truth and The Truth has set you free!
The Colossians needed teaching, so they would not be deceived about the nature of Christ, by the many false teachings rampant in Paul’s day. Today the church must continue to earnestly contend for the faith.
