We are living in days where there is an overall mindset that we don’t like to yield or submit to those God has raised up to lead His Church. Being a pastor is an impossible and dangerous calling as it is at times very hard to minister when people and society minimize the importance of God’s Word. Pastors need prayer to humbly teach God’s people and to love and care for His flock. Paul teaches Timothy the attitude the church needs to have when serving together with the pastor; how it needs to help support , encourage, and minister correction to the elders. And most important, how we are taught to honor and to be thankful to the Lord for those who labor in the Word and doctrine?
