Matthew 10:24-42 – The Lonely In Ministry

There are times when we serve Christ that it seems like we are all alone and it is not easy. Christ is always with us, yet there are times when we don’t sense that closeness. He gives His Apostles directions in today’s teaching regarding what they must understand and do when others come against their ministry. Persecution, rejection, betrayal, and slander will occur in our lives when we endeavor to serve Jesus. He told us what He experienced as one who is perfect. And He said because we are of His household and family, we to will be maligned. Yet when we are lonely and discouraged, we need to be reminded that it’s worth serving Jesus because of all He has done for us.
