We all experience inner conflicts, the desire to live Godly, and the temptation to yield to sinful desires. This is not uncommon among professing Christians. There is no way to win the battle within through human willpower or trying our best always to do what is right before God. In Romans chapter 7, we see the example of Paul the Apostle honestly and vividly detailing our inner struggles doing the right thing. There is an answer to overcoming and winning the battle over this tendency to do wrong. Paul takes us through the process of failing to experience overcoming life. This is only accomplished by Grace and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, prompting us to follow Jesus.
