The 144,000 Sealed – Revelation 7

In Revelation 7, there is a short break from God’s judgment between the Lamb’s opening of the 6th seal and the opening of the 7th seal. Here, God marks 144,000 of the children of Israel, and separates them for service during the period of the Tribulation. These are sealed to signify God’s ownership, His protection and authority. Separating the righteous from the unrighteous. We too are sealed by the Holy Spirit to show that we are owned by God and protected by God. The sealing of the Holy Spirit is a guarantee of our redemption and inheritance in Christ Jesus.
