"The Resurrection" Mark 16:1-13
Satuday, The Sabbath, was the darkest day in the history of mankind. Our Savior laid dead in the tomb while His followers were in a state of sorrow and grief. The unthinkable has happened; Jesus was betrayed by one of their own, He was arrested, Peter denies Him 3x’s, their Messiah was crucified, died and was buried; but Sunday is coming. Proving that Jesus is who he said He was, He is Risen! Though many, including some Christians, don’t believe or doubt the literal bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, Paul defends this central component of the gospel as Fact, on the strength of the authority of scripture and eye witness accounts. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is our Hope of eternal life in Him. Jesus said, “Because I live, you will live also.” “He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
