The TRUE Gospel Galatians 1:1-10

Paul writes this letter to the churches in Galatia, astonished at how they have turned from the gospel he preached to a message of “Jesus and works” salvation from the Judaizers. He starts this letter defending his status as an apostle, and that he was not appointed by man, but by God. Afterwards, he shares his astonishment at the turning away from the true gospel and says that anyone, including Paul himself, who shares a different gospel than the one he shared with them, that they should be accursed. Finally, he finishes this passage making the claim that he is not seeking the approval of or looking to please man, but God only. This passage applies to all believers today, that we should not be trying to twist the gospel or seeking the approval of man, but should share the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and seek to please God above all.
