I was born and raised in Steelton, Pennsylvania and attended Steelton Highspire High School.

Upon completing high school in 1978, I enrolled at Fullerton College in Southern California. I later transferred to Duquesne University where I majored in Clinical Psychology and minored in Sociology.

In 1984, I graduated from Duquesne University with a B.A degree in Clinical Psychology.

In 1998, I gave my life to the Lord. My family and I attended “The Lord’s Church of Pittsburgh” for 12 years. I was called to ministry in 2002 and served as Youth Minister for 8 years.

My family and I have attended Calvary Chapel Church of Westmoreland for 10 years, where I currently serve as a Pastor and in the evangelism ministry.

I have been married to my wife, Terri Harrell, for 20 years. We have 5 children and 4 grandchildren.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, 1998. It was the love and grace of God that took me out of a life of chasing money, women and worldly things.  There were many times that the Lord reached out to me but that day He really got a hold of my heart. I finally saw myself as the sinner I am and I realized I needed a Savior. I cried out to the Lord and He saved me. Romans 10:13 tells us that “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved”.
